Word of the Week - Adverb

According to Dictionary.com, “adverbs typically express some relation of place, time, manner, attendant circumstance, degree, cause, inference, result, condition, exception, concession, purpose, or means.”  To state it more simply an adverb modifies a verb and usually ends in ly.  Think of an adverb as an adjective and verb joined together.
